Fundraising Journey

March 2023 Chloe-Anne was learning about Air Ambulances as part of her home education, Upon learning of the costs involced for Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex Chloe-Anne casually turned and announced she wanted to fundraise to help KSS.

Taken back by this we asked how she intended to do this, to which she proudly said “I’ll just make stuff and sell it” to which we then asked how much she intended to raise in which Chloe-Anne stated £1,000.

being unsure if she was selling herself up for failure or not we proceeded to take the steps to enable Chloe-Anne to start creating products, We got her a spot at the local craft market and she was away.

After 9 months Chloe-Anne made her first £1,000 for KSS shortly after her 13th birthday 🎉

In 2024 Chloe-Anne became aware of The children’s Air Ambulance Charity. Having learnt that they transport children anywhere in the UK to recieve specialist care Chloe-Anne was really driven to support them with her fundraising alongside KSS.

Chloe-Anne set herself a £2,000 target to split between both charities.

by August she sent Children’s Air Ambulance Charity their portion and continued fundraising to send KSS their portion a few months later.

After the success of 2024 Chloe-Anne went in even harder with her fundraising, Aiming to raise £5,100 to split between both charities with £2,600 going to childrens air ambulance and £2,500 to KSS.

by May 2025 Chloe-Anne was on really good trajectory to reach this but unfortunately we unexpectly lost her grandad mike at the end of may and so took 2 months out of fundraising to grieve.

For sunmer 2025 Chloe-Anne really went big with trying to catch up with her fundraising, Joining KSS at their Heli Fun days across Kent & Surrey.

In late 2025 Bellway Kent made contact having seen Chloe-Anne’s story and wanting to support her with her target by donating £1,000 towards her target. We met with mark the sales director for Bellway Homes Kent who presented Chloe-Anne with the cheque and spoke of his intent to help with Chloe-Anne’s christmas care package deliveries.

Thanks to Bellway’s support Chloe-Anne had passed the halfway point and now was able to make her first donation of 2025 to Children’s air ambulance charity for the amount of £2,600 completing their #TheCrew fundraiser challenge and bringing her total amount donated to Children’s air ambulance charity to £3,600.

throughout december Chloe-Anne focused on her fundraising and care packages to really make a different. Joining Medway Asthma Self Help for their christmas craft event and Gillingham’s salvation Army’s christmas fair and then jointing KSS for their Christmas carol concert at Rochester cathedral for the second year running.

While Chloe-Anne Didn’t make her £5,100 target for 2025 she is continuing her fundraising journey into 2026 with a goal to reach the final amount before her 16th birthday in October.
